Children at schools with a broad base of involved parents perform remarkably better in many different measurements of success.

Your time is greatly valued. Here are the many volunteer areas where we welcome your support.

Annual Fun Run

Our annual school fundraiser is the “Fun Run Colt Stampede.” Students recieve pledges and donations to run laps around the ELHS track. Many parent volunteers are needed in planning and holding the event.

PTO Committee

Our school has a wonderful group of volunteer PTO committee members. We appreciate their time and effort toward making sure all the exciting events that take place at CSES are a success.  If you are interested in helping out, please check out our BOARD page as we are in need of a few leads.

Duty-Free Lunch

Every month, we like to give our teachers a much-deserved lunch without their everyday duties in the cafeteria! To make this happen, we need volunteers to help monitor the kids in the cafeteria. Sign-up!

More Volunteer Opportunities

Fall/Spring Book Fair
Volunteers will be needed for the fall and spring book fairs.  Volunteers will help students select books while staying within budget and assist with check out.

Santa Shop
The holidays are a magical time for our students and the Santa Shop is a special store geared toward them. In the spirit of giving, our students have the opportunity to shop for their loved ones. Items are affordable and priced to meet every budget. Volunteers work with the students to stay within their budgets and in selecting items.

School Store
On select Fridays throughout the school year, students have the opportunity to shop for supplies and novelty items at our school store. Volunteers are needed to help students and monitor the store.

Proctor Exams
Our 3rd and 4th grade classrooms must have a proctor to take their exams and we need as many volunteers as possible to make this happen. Typically, the volunteer times are 8:00am-11:30am on either one or both days that the exams are given.

Room Representatives
Collaborate and communicate with classroom teacher and parents to plan events, parties, and to collect needed items throughout the year.

Hospitality- Plan and execute celebrations, lunches, and gifts for staff members.
