Why is this so meaningful?
Each year our technology needs change and grow as we move through the 21st century. The proceeds from the Tee It Up for Technology Golf Tournament allowed us to continue to purchase the rights to quality software such as Moby Max, Reading Eggs, Brain Pop, Brain Pop Junior, Mystery Science, and Pebblego. We were also able to add more Chromebooks to our intermediate classrooms. Last year, we were also able to replace broken projectors with interactive displays. With funds from this year’s event, we will purchase additional Chromebooks, interactive displays, and classroom computers as needed. We will be able to renew our software subscriptions and have funding for new and innovative online programs. Without the money raised from this tournament, these projects cannot be funded because the state of North Carolina no longer funds technology. Thank you so much for your continued support and please contact the school if you have any questions or would like to sponsor, golf, or donate!
